Perth Staycation

Reed and I were lucky enough to be invited to stay at Holiday Inn Perth this month.

We checked in after school on a Friday and spent 24 hours being tourists in our own city. It was so lovely being able to be spend time together without having to worry about washing and cleaning.

After walking around Elizabeth Quay, Reed and I walked back to Holiday Inn to have dinner at Ivy & Jack. The meals are delicious and kids eat free!

We enjoyed our dinner at Ivy & Jack and went back to the hotel room to enjoy the rest of our night. Reed and I popped our pyjamas on and watched a movie. The block out curtains were amazing as Reed slept in till 9am – unheard of!!

It was wonderful having a relaxing sleep in the spacious hotel room. We woke up really refreshed after a big sleep in. We got ready and went back down to Ivy & Jack for a delicious breakfast.

It’s right next door to the hotel so Reed wore his dinosaur slippers down to breakfast 🦖
Reed kept himself busy with the VIK activities he received when we checked in

After breakfast we walked to Palace Raine Cinemas to watch a movie before we had to check out.

Reed and I really enjoyed our time away. Holiday Inn Perth has a lot of different options for staycations. With a central location I didn’t have to drive anywhere during our stay, we simply walked everywhere. Reed is begging me to go back so we will have to do it again soon.

It’s never too late to explore your own city!
