Why I don’t like Valentine’s Day

I guess you’re going to think I dislike Valentine’s Day has something to do with being single. False. I’ve never really liked it, even when I had partners.

Why would I want someone to be forced to do all those nice things for me.

I would much rather be shown every single day why I matter, why I’m loved.

One day doesn’t mean your relationship is perfect, you don’t have areas to work on and that love is easy.

Every single relationship is a give-take, otherwise it’s not equal.

Men, you should tell your partners every single day that you love them. Women, you should do the same. If you’re single, tell your friends how much they mean to you and that you value them. Tell your family, your dog/cat, your kids. Or if you’re like me, your dogs are like your kids. Here is a few photos I hold dear:

One day you might wake up and never get that chance so let’s fill the world with love each and every single day.

And that’s why I don’t like Valentine’s Day.

Tell me how you spent the day in the comments below ❤️
